User Interface Tweaks - Disable the mark of new installed programs in the Startmenu

In Windows XP new installed program's will be marked in the Start menu.

To disable this, follow the next steps:

  1. Right click with your mouse on the Start button.
     
  2. Choose Properties.
     
  3. Choose Customize (see picture 1).

  4. Go to the tab Advanced.
     
  5. Remove the check by Hightlight newly installed programs (see picture 2).
